    PPC Executive – Greater Manchester – £25-30k


    Our client is an extremely successful, multi-award winning, multichannel retailer enjoying a sustained period of fantastic growth. They are in the process of building a best in class ecommerce function at the forefront of innovation and require a talented, self-starting and forward thinking PPC Executive to join this growing and dynamic team.

    Based in Greater Manchester, this is a brand new role within a team of performance marketing specialists, providing an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious, energetic and creative individual to really make their mark. You’ll have gained full end to end campaign experience across the full range of paid media, including PPC, retargeting, shopping and other emerging performance channels and be able to demonstrate successful results.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support the PPC Manager in the creation, management, optimisation and reporting of PPC, Shopping and retargeting campaigns.
    • Perform competitor analysis, keyword research and ad copy writing in coordination with business objectives to optimise existing content and discover new opportunities.
    • Ensure continuous optimisation of CPA, landing pages, quality score and conversion through A/B and multivariate testing of ad copy, bidding strategies and negative keywords.
    • Oversee monthly budgets, making bid adjustments accordingly to maximise results.
    • Produce daily, weekly and monthly performance reports for senior management.
    • Understand trends in data, providing commentary and suggested actions. Investigate variances and provide the reasons ‘why’ results have occurred.
    • Develop new ways to acquire visitors, improve efficiency and retarget previous visitors.
    • Key project assistance to the PPC Manager and Head of Ecommerce.
    • Actively keep up to date with the PPC community, dealing with industry news and updates accordingly.

    Skills and Attributes

    • A degree in Marketing or a similar qualification would be advantageous.
    • At least 2 years’ experience within a PPC role essential, agency or client side, ideally for a retail ecommerce business.
    • Strong knowledge of Google AdWords, Bing Ads and other search engine ad platforms, as well as Google Shopping, Merchant Center and Analytics.
    • Must be Adwords certfied
    • Fluent in Microsoft Excel and Google Analytics and comfortable manipulating data.
    • A numerical, analytical mind with high accuracy and attention to detail, always looking for ways to improve.
    • Knowledge/experience of Criteo and Facebook advertising desirable
    • A confident, self-starter attitude with strong communication skills when dealing with colleagues at all levels.
    • Desire to develop advanced knowledge of PPC, a creative flair and genuine passion for all things search, digital marketing and ecommerce.
