    My client is in need of a Senior Web Optimisation Manager to join their team in Central London. This role is a key hire for this retailer’s digital strategy and product team and will represent both the business and customer’s needs globally to identify opportunities to improve the effectiveness of digital products.

    The Senior Web Optimisation Manager will be commercially focussed and be responsible for developing and managing the strategic vision for optimisation across all digital offerings. You will be leading a team that will provide insight into customer behaviour and also work closely with the Product Management team to build business cases for digital solutions to solve problems for stakeholders and customers. You’ll be providing insights and presenting these to stakeholders across the business, whilst at the same time prioritising workload for your team and working closely with an analytics agency when needed.

    You will also be:

    • Signing of optimisation tests, identifying KPIs and measuring success
    • Use statistical methods to mine and manipulate data
    • Provide insights to stakeholders across the business so they can understand customer behaviour
    • Make recommendations based on these insights
    • Review reporting requirements and create insight analysis briefs
    • Manage your team – mentoring and coaching

    To qualify for the role, you will need:

    • Ideally you’ll have experience of working in retail or ecommerce in a similar role
    • Experience with a range of analytical tools – Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, SQL or similar
    • Experience of running optimisation programmes
    • A passion for numbers and analysing data
    • Experience of defining and reporting on KPIs
    • Ideally some experience with Hybris but not essential

    Salary: £65-80k
